She debuted in 2012 as a member of Puretty under DSP Media, and later became a member of both C.I.V.A (a girl group formed on the mockumentary series The God of Music 2) and I.B.I. Both groups debuted in 2016. In 2017, she became a member of the girl group April.
She has also appeared as a contestant on the talent "survival" shows Kara Project (2014) and Produce 101 (2016).
