Park Cho Rong, better known by her stage name Chorong, is a South Korean idol singer and actress. She is the leader of South Korean girl group "A Pink", under A Cube Entertainment which is a sub-label of Cube Entertainment. Park auditioned for JYP Entertainment in 2009 and made it to the finals. Prior to debuting as an A Pink member in 2011, Chorong was first introduced to the public through the Japanese version of Beast's Shock music video. She debuted as A Pink leader on April 19, 2011. Chorong debuted as a lyricist with a song titled "April 19th". The song was dedicated to A Pink fans as a gift to celebrate the group's first anniversary. Chorong made her acting debut in 2011 on MBC's "All My Love", a South Korean sitcom. Her father owns a Hapkido center, and she learned Hapkido for eight years, earning a third degree black belt.
