Daesung was born in Itaewon, South Korea and attended high school (KyeongIn High School) but he dropped out and focused more on BIGBANG. Then late 2008, he focused on college entrances. and attended Kyunghee University in Seoul. Graduated in 2008 Since his debut, he has released solo singles, performed in musicals, acted in a drama What's Up, and became a member of reality-variety series Family Outing and talk show Night After Night.
