Yoon Kyun Sang is a South Korean actor. He first drew attention with a supporting role in the television series "Pinocchio".
Before Yoon became an actor he was a model for a shorter period. Respecting his father's wish he then joined the army and completed his mandatory military service. In 2012 he debuted as an actor, starring in the historical drama Faith. He was then cast in the movie No Breathing as a swimmer. Yoon achieved acting recognition with his supporting role in the television series, Pinocchio.
In 2015, Yoon was cast in the movie You Call It Passion, playing an upcoming young actor who was involved in a sexual assault scandal but later proven innocent. In May, he was cast in the historical drama Six Flying Dragons. He played a dim-witted boy who eventually becomes the greatest swordsman of Josen, rising to the head of the royal bodyguard unit that defends the king.
In 2016, Yoon starred in the popular medical drama Doctor Crush, as an heir to a large corporation who became a doctor to escape the fight for inheritance.
Yoon's excellent acting in both Six Flying Dragons and Doctors earned him a Rookie Actor award at the Grimae Awards.
In 2017, Yoon starred in the historical drama Rebel: Thief Who Stole the People as the titular character, Hong Gil-dong. This marks his first leading role. Alongside actress Chae Soo-bin whom he was previously worked with before in a commercial film and music video.
