He originally debuted in the group HotShot in 2014, before taking a hiatus to be a part of the 'temporary fan-made' group, JBJ. Which ran from October 2017 to April 2018. He debut with “Kid Monster” as his stage name with Hotshot, but at the Hotshot Jelly promotion he announced that will be using his real name to promote.
