Miyawaki Sakura is a member of the Japanese idol girl groups HKT48 and AKB48. In 2018 she became a member of Japanese-Korean idol group IZONE. She is vice captain of HKT48's Team KIV and a member of AKB48's Team A. Miyawaki joined HKT48 as their first generation Kenkyūsei in July 2011. In the AKB48 General Elections held annually, Miyawaki has consistently been ranked high and has gradually gone up in rank each time; in the 2018 Election, she placed 3rd.
